  The Little Gym Philosophy
What does it mean to teach 'The Little Gym way'?We are committed to developing children in a safe, nurturing and positive setting. We encourage children to be themselves and to have fun whilst they learn. Children are taught 'not to be the best but to try their best'; taking risks, trying new things and learning from mistakes are all part of life. Our philosophy is to treat children with dignity and respect, rewarding them for their effort in order to develop their confidence and to help them grow as individuals. That is 'The Little Gym way'.
The Little Gym HistoryIn 1976, an established gymnast called Robin Wes had a vision. He saw a place where children from the ages of 4 months to 12 years could develop whilst having fun. The Little Gym was born. Today more than 200 The Little Gyms have been set up around the world, welcoming thousands of children every week. 'Robin remains an integral part of the programme and is constantly seeking improved methods of motivating children and staying on the cutting edge of motor skills development.'

What does a The Little Gym® look like?They are brightly lit, colorful, fun, happy places, full of smiling faces. The Little Gym® facilities are approximately 4,000 square feet and are usually found in leisure or business parks.
Is a franchise available for sale in my area?Probably. But since we award an average of one new territory each week, they are going fast. Call our Franchise Development Department to learn about available territories in your area.
Do I need a degree or background in physical education or child development?No. The Little Gym's programs are based on meticulously and professionally developed curriculum that we teach every Franchise Owner. The skills of how to properly work with children of all ages and how to recruit and train staff will be taught.
What kind of business background do I need to qualify for a The Little Gym® franchise?The Little Gym® Franchise Owners have varied backgrounds, but all of them have enjoyed success of some kind in their professional lives.
