Details:Data that we collect:Site usage - we collect site usage data to help us optimise the site. We analyse how people navigate through and interact with the site, at both aggregated and individual levels. Individual level information (for example how many companies one registered person visited as a result of a visit from google) is only used internally by our analysts. Anonymous aggregated data (for example, the number of searches for 'Automotive' opportunities in June) may be made public - for example to assist our sales people when selling advertising.Personally entered data:When you register with the site you enter a certain amount of personal information (for example, your name and address). By registering you are permitting us to store and use your personal data on a web server (currently housed within the EU) and make backups (also within the EU). You also accept that all data collected by the site may be analysed by our team, either on the server or by downloading the data in whole or part onto a PC.Information requests:If you click a link on the site, or in an email sent by us, which is asking to 'request more information' from a company (or similar wording) this is an instruction to us to send your registered details to the relevant client, so that they may send you the information you have requested. Once we have passed your data on to such a company we clearly have no further control over it - so please only request information from companies you are interested in!General requests:When you register (or after registration) there is an option provided whereby you can ask us automatically to send your personal data to companies similar to the ones you manually request information from. If you opt-in to this service your information will be emailed to companies that match: a) the same primary category and b) the same or lower investment level as the company from which you manually requested more information. We may, in future, change the way that these leads are matched and will notify you by email in this instance.Email newsletter:By registering for the email newsletter you are requesting that we send you, roughly once a month, the site newsletter. This will contain information about the features and opportunities present on the site and perhaps advertising as well. There may also be 'request more information' links in these newsletters. By clicking these links your details will be sent to the relevant company (see 'information requests' above).Opportunities by email:When you register (or after registration) there is an option provided whereby you can ask us to send you email information on behalf of various franchises. If this option is selected, you are requesting that we email you such information and/or advertisements which may contain 'information request' links as described above. These emails will be sent out at infrequent intervals (never more than twice per week) and we will usually be paid by a client to send them to you. Selecting this option does not permit us directly to sell your email address nor other personal data to any third party and we achieve this by sending out the emails ourselves.Cookies:We use cookies (if your browser accepts them) to store your session information and keep you 'logged in' between visits to the site.
